Satisfaction Celebrates at BFI Flare with The Mind Corner’s Dear Friend Alex BurunovaWe were incredibly proud to attend Satisfaction, a film connected to our dear friend of The Mind Corner, Alex Burunova, who we previously had the pleasure of welcoming onto our podcast.Having already spoken with Alex about her journey and her work, it was particularly special to see her continue to be part of such an exciting project and to celebrate the film within the incredible atmosphere of BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival.Satisfaction stars Fionn Whitehead, known for Black Mirror and Dunkirk, alongside Emma Laird, recognised for her work in 28 Years Later. The film brings together an exciting cast and creative team, making it a memorable addition to this year's festival programme.We had the opportunity to speak with Alex on The Mind Corner, where she shared more about her career, creative journey and her involvement in the film. Supporting the people we have had the privilege of connecting with through the podcast and seeing their work reach new audiences is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.It was a genuine pleasure to attend Satisfaction and celebrate the work of Alex and everyone involved in bringing the project to life. Madfabulous Celebrates Its World Premiere at BFI FlareWe were delighted to attend the world premiere of Madfabulous as part of the prestigious BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival.The special red-carpet event brought together an exciting group of talent, including Ruby Stokes, Louis Hynes, Callum Scott and Tom Rhys, making the evening a memorable celebration of film, creativity and LGBTQIA+ storytelling.It was a genuine pleasure to have the opportunity to watch Madfabulous and experience its world premiere alongside the cast, filmmakers and festival audience. Attending BFI Flare is always a reminder of the importance of creating spaces that celebrate diverse voices and stories, while bringing together artists and audiences from across the entertainment industry.We are incredibly grateful to have been part of such a special evening and to experience the energy surrounding the premiere. Lunar Sway Brings an Exciting Cast and Powerful Storytelling to BFI FlareWe were delighted to attend Lunar Sway, the latest film from director Nick Butler, as part of the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival.The film features an exciting and talented cast, including Liza Weil (Gilmore Girls), Kaden Connor (Heated Rivalry), Douglas Smith (Percy Jackson) and Noah Parker (Crash Land), bringing together a compelling group of performers for this highly anticipated project.One of the highlights of the experience was having the opportunity to speak with director Nick Butler about the creative journey behind Lunar Sway. We discussed the process of bringing the film to life, the challenges and inspirations involved in its creation, and the vision that shaped the story from its earliest stages to the screen.It was a genuine pleasure to experience the film and hear directly from its director about the passion, creativity and dedication behind the project.
