Dua Lipa Commands Wembley Stadium

Radical Optimism Tour – 20 June 2025, London

Headlining Wembley Stadium is a career-defining moment for any artist. On 20 June 2025.

Opening with “Training Season,” fireworks and pyrotechnics immediately signalled stadium ambition. The Radical Optimism Tour, which has largely played arenas across Europe and the U.S., expanded seamlessly into a full-scale UK stadium production.

While much of the set leaned on material from Radical Optimism, the night truly ignited when her global hits took centre stage. “One Kiss” and “Levitating” lifted the 75,000-strong crowd early, while “Physical” showcased her now-signature tightly drilled choreography. Vocally, she delivered with confidence, particularly on “Hallucinate” and “Falling Forever,” demonstrating continued growth as a live performer.

A standout London moment came when she welcomed Jay Kay of Jamiroquai for a surprise rendition of “Virtual Insanity”  , a nod to British music heritage that added weight to the hometown show.

The emotional peak arrived with “Be The One,” her 2015 breakout single. There was visible gratitude in her performance, a full-circle moment amplified by the scale of Wembley’s iconic arch above her.

The encore sealed the night with hit-after-hit precision: “New Rules,” “Dance The Night,” “Don’t Start Now,” and “Houdini.” Confetti, fireworks, and a stadium-wide singalong delivered the kind of finale Wembley demands.

Not every new track landed with equal impact, but the overall production, discipline, and command of the stage confirmed what many suspected  Dua Lipa had firmly stepped into stadium-headliner territory.
